| Thank you for visiting our site. We are pleased to provide you with
names of the county fairs, festivals and associates who provide
services needed in the process of making sure that you are entertained,
fed, recognized and assisted. Our association is here to serve the
members who are the fairs and festivals in Kansas and the associate
members who are so important to any fair. We depend on our associate
members to help us have the best fairs anywhere in the nation.
Our main event is the annual convention which is held at the Ramada Inn in Topeka, Kansas, starting the Friday after the first Monday in January of each year. Fairs and Festivals in the state of Kansas are as American as apple pie and home grown folks; they are classically shared in conversations for their taste -- cotton candy, hot dogs and ice cream; the distinct aromas -- barbecue and brats w/grilled onion and green peppers; and from the smells that linger from the barnyard to the fresh cut crops on exhibit. Ferris wheels, balloons and contests bring out the kid in all of us. Kansas has a multitude of festivals earmarking historical accomplishments. County fairs burst with tradition by offering a myriad of ways to become involved from exhibiting a prized tomato to bull riding. You can check out the 4-H programs presenting:
The many trails which historically run through Kansas since early settlement of the state are widened and brought into a new dimension through trails of education, agriculture, information and direction which will enhance productivity, economic viability and leadership capabilities for growth, development and quality of life. The association invites you to browse through the list of scholarship rules and presentations honored and extended by and through the association to worthy youth in the state of Kansas. Dedicated volunteers make up our association board, as do a voluminous number who work together all over the state to make each fair and festival ready for you to enjoy year after year. Have a most informational tour of our site and we will see you at our county fairs and festivals this year, made possible by our associate members working behind the scenes to make the whole event fun, fantastic and flavored to your liking.
